Center-Zip Bag

This bag is a spacious and practical backpack for daily use. The concept is based on the hybrid of a classic daypack with a duffle bag opening. The webbing closure which continues the main zipper line helps to compromise the bag and can be used for attaching items outside. The centred zipper offers a huge opening to the main compartment. There is a separate laptop compartment which can be accessed from the left side and two different sized pockets on the front. A hidden pocket at the right side offers space for keys, a phone or a wallet.
My role: I was responsible for the concept, the design and the sample making.
Character
In terms of style, the bag comes in a bold and distinctive look, introducing a fresh new aesthetic to the backpack market. Its folding mechanism and resulting sharp peak could easily fit into a futuristic appearance reminiscent of the Dune movies.
